Enrichment Programs

Art Enrichment

We have an Art Enrichment program that is organized by parent volunteers.  For 2 months out of the school year each class is assigned a specific artist to study.  As part of their studies they create art projects specific to the style of that particular artist.  The art is then displayed in the halls of the school and for our Grandparents at the Grandparent's Mass reception.

Drama Enrichment

Cataldo has a wonderful Drama program thanks to Jenna Solberg, our music teacher, parent volunteers, and a drama coach hired for this program.  This program is open to students in the 3rd-8th grade and is an after-school activity that runs October trough the end of January.  Previous performances have included Seussical, Willy Wonka and Dear Edwina.  The students work extremely hard and really shine at the performances.

Math Is Cool

Math is Cool is a national competition offered to students grades 4-12 with grade level competitions held on six dates throughout the school year.  The program is an extra-curricular activity organized by parent volunteers. 

Math is Cool competitions include both individual and team events.  Individual events include completion of open-ended and multiple choice problem sets.  Team events include open-ended problem sets, relays, pressure rounds, mental math and college bowl rounds.

Strings
