About Mrs. Matheny

I grew up in Spokane and attended Cataldo Catholic School. I graduated from Eastern Washington University with a BA in Elementary Education and an endorsement in Reading. I strongly believe in the value of Catholic education and believe in the importance of children being educated in a Christ centered school. Including Catholic values in every aspect of education is essential to educating the whole child. I have created a positive and nurturing classroom environment that fosters a sense of caring, responsibility, and community. I truly believe in the mission of Cataldo Catholic School to work in partnership with parents to educate students spiritually and academically.
