Molly Hughes
Growing up I always wanted to be a teacher . After graduating from Fort Wright College I attended Eastern Washington to get my BA in Education. I began my teaching career at Cataldo as a part time teacher in the 4thgrade. The following year I taught full time in 3rdgrade for two years and then moved to 5thgrade for 16 years. In the meantime, I received my Masters degree in Administration at Gonzaga University. I have been in Administration for the past 6 years as Assistant Principal and presently am a homeroom teacher for 7thgraders to which I also teach Religion and Social Studies. I love Cataldo and have been blessed to be able to teach here for so many years and watch the students grow into young adults. It is truly a gift to be able to spend my days with students, teachers, staff members and parents. Teaching is as much a learning experience for me as it is for the students. Each day brings new challenges and instills new memories. My hope is that each student strives to do their best and when they leave Cataldo they leave with great memories themselves and take with them good values and become diligent learners all their lives. You can contact me anytime at mhughes@cataldo.org
